Why is this change to LED necessary at all?

This might be a question bothering you. When the normal incandescent bulbs are working just fine, why should we bother about replacing it with something else? The reason for this is that since the world faces an impending environmental catastrophe with global warming and the green house effect, you cannot but be careful with whatever little you can do to stop or at least minimize the harm done to the environment. The reason for this is that even during bad weather conditions, like heavy rain or fog, the colours of the light emitting diodes are way stronger than the normal bulbs. So, when from a distance you see either green or yellow or red color, you know that you are seeing right. Also, because LEDs are stronger in terms of emitting light, they will be more visible from afar. Also, you won’t have to worry about the texture of the colors being right. The authorities and the manufacturers will be responsible and careful enough to give you the right color.

LEDs are even better because they have the power to adapt themselves to the need of varied situations. They can be dimmed if necessary or kept at a high powered form, depending on the requirement that a particular situation demands. Not only these, at times when the lights have to be instantly turned off due to some emergencies, these light emitting diodes are the perfect accompaniment to motion sensors.  They are sturdier and have more acceptance of suddenly changing commands and so last longer than the normal bulbs too.
